Today some of us joined David Warburton, Sutton’s Senior Biodiversity Officer, for a really informative tree walk organised by the Friends of Oaks Park. In spite of the losses suffered as a result of the Great Storm in 1987, Oaks Park boasts a wide variety of native and non-native trees and thanks to David we now know so much more about how to identify them.

A most enjoyable day spent at the Sutton Community Farm’s 2019 Harvest Festival sharing a stall with the Downlands Partnership. A great atmosphere, some excellent food on offer and some good contacts made. Many thanks again to Connor for transporting the equipment. We will be back.
